Exams

Students will be evaluated on the basis of their project work, which can be performed either individually or in group (preferred – max 3 students). Attending students can gain extra points (max 4) by performing some of the how to start a research paper for search and seizure example activities proposed during course (e.g., presentation/discussion of assigned research papers, user based testing of assigned applications).

The project consists of one or more of the following activities: design, implementation, evaluation of an interactive application that exploits novel interaction paradigms. Project delivery must include project documentation. Projects will be evaluated on the basis of technical and methodological quality, originality, and a public presentation.

High-level project specifications will be introduced at the beginning of the course, while detailed specifications will be presented after the first set of lessons (week 3). A limited number of projects that will account for the module AUI: Interaction (prof. Garzotto) and AUI: Technlogy (prof. Cremonesi) will be available, and will be proposed approximately at the mid of the course.

Regular tutoring sessions are undertaken with the supervision of teachers and teaching assistants. Please notice that we will not be able to offer tutoring after the end of the semester hence students are essay writing service invited to perform their project work during the course to benefit of teachers’ support.

Best projects will be submitted for presentation to international conferences in the AIU area; in case of acceptance, students will be given a (limited) grant to attend the conference

Projects can be extended to master thesis.
